How to Make My Welcome Blanket is a fully-illustrated 41 page paperback which not only gives 24 knitting charts for making the blanket shown in the picture book, but also describes how to involve a group of knitters in the project.

The instruction book is A4 size and contains simple, clear instructions that are easy to follow with pins in hand.

Even newcomers to knitting can contribute: plain knitted patches and simple patterns are equally as valuable as the picture patches.

The finished blanket and the picture book can then be presented to the baby as a gift from all their family and friends

Bear Sample The blanket can be personalised with baby's name and date - patterns for letters and numbers are included - and can become a beautiful heirloom or a practical playmat or cot blanket. This striking gift can be made economically from oddments of double knitting yarn and still looks fabulous. Each blanket will be unique as knitters can choose to make a patch in any colour or stitch pattern they like. There are also full instructions for designing and knitting a picture of your own choice.
